Monitors the weather network and collect the information about temperature
The Win Barometer application was developed to be a free Windows program which monitors the weather network and collect the information about temperature, humidity and pressure at your location in.
Also it displays Air Quality, Wind direction and other info. This program could display weather at almost any place in the world! The forecast will tell you what would be the weather in short time!
FIND YOUR CITY :
We just put only few Presets for cities. However WinBaro can display weather for almost any city in the world. The best way how to get any major city worldwide is to use the Search function:
1. Open the Presets list box
2. Select More...
3. The Enter City field will become enabled and empty.
4. Write the name of your city, for example San Diego.
5. Press Search button
6. A new window will appear and the program will try to connect the Internet database of cities with weather records.
7. If no city was found you have to try again some bigger city near by.
8. In few cases you will get a list of the cities as a result
For example the barometer found San Diego in California and San Diego in Texas. Select your city by clicking on it.
The search window will close and the Data Page in Settings will be updated.
9. Now click OK and Barometer will try to contact the weather network to get the data from the Data Page.
If you are living in the Ontario, you can get advantage from the AQ option - the Air Quality Index. In the Code/City are listed all cities providing Air Quality readings for public. The AQ will display AQ index, the time of measurement, the reasons for the index (for example Ozone O3) and it will show also suggestions or warnings.
