Delete old temporary files with this utility.


EraseTemp is a simple, easy to use tool designed to automatically delete old temporary files from your computer.


Unlike most other tools that by default delete all the temp files, this one only deletes the ones that are at least a day old (avoiding problems with files that may be needed).


EraseTemp is a software that allows you delete temporary files.


If you just run the application it deletes everything older than one day in the Temp folder(s). It looks in your personal Temp folder in Documents and Settings, the Temp folder in the Windows folder and, if present, C:Temp.


You can also use EraseTemp to delete old files, any number of days old, in any folder. The program also accepts command line parameters and can remove empty subdirectories.


EraseTemp deletes files immediately after it is started, recommended for advanced users that want to take advantage of the commandline options.


Here are the command prompt arguments:


/Temp Erase the default TEMP Directory (Default)
/Path Erase a specific directory
/Silent No output to the screen
/Minimized Run minimized
/Days Days to keep (1 is default)
/Dump Erase dump and DrWatson files (Default)
/SubFolders Removes emtpy subdirectories
/KeepFolders Keeps subdirectories (not for /SubFolders)
/IgnoreLastAccessed Only looks at last modified
/Log Logs the names of the deleted files
/LogDate Adds date to the logfile
/NoClose Don't close the program automatically
/Test Test mode, nothing will be deleted
